    Tiger Woods is getting involved in the digital space as he will be releasing a nonfungible token (NFT) collection.

    The NFTs will be released through a company called Autograph, which is co-founded by Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady.

    Autograph is releasing 10,000 digital images of Woods that will be available for purchase and will be sold exclusively on DraftKings Marketplace.

    “The intersection of sports and technology is such an interesting space to me, and I’m thrilled to partner with Autograph as they lead the charge by ushering a new era of digital collecting,” Woods said.

    The start studded Advisory Board includes Derek Jeter, Naomi Osaka, Simone Biles, Tony Hawk, Tiger Woods and more.   • Each featured athlete will begin by dropping a limited number of NFT collectibles categorized as the Premier drops and Signature drops within the Preseason Access Collection. These NFTs will be available for USD purchase at a range of prices with the goal of lowering the barriers to entry for fans who want to begin collecting NFTs while still appealing to seasoned collectors. Premier editions of Tom Brady NFTs will drop throughout the day on August 11th followed by Signature editions set to drop during August 13th that will contain authentic digital signatures from the seven-time Super Bowl champion.

    Following the Tom Brady drop, Wayne Gretzky will be the next athlete showcased within the Preseason Access Collection on DraftKings Marketplace.

    Each owner of a Preseason Access Pass, regardless of edition, will also be granted preferential access to a future drop from Autograph.

    The Premier edition drops on September 21st and the Signed edition drops on September 28th, both starting at 3:00pm ET, with queues opening at 2:30pm ET.

    While the Premier editions will offer thousands of Tiger’s digital collectibles, the Signed editions will have significantly fewer, with less than 300 total in the whole batch.

    The deal included sponsorships of video features and other content across the NHL’s digital outlets, co-branded free games with fan-oriented prizes, and in-venue ad placements during marquee NHL events. Yahoo! Sports remained the league’s official season-length fantasy sports provider.[15][16]

    In April 2015, DraftKings reached a similar deal with Major League Baseball.[17] The agreement allowed DraftKings to offer co-branded MLB daily fantasy games and extend its relationships with individual MLB clubs to offer in-stadium fantasy-related experiences.[17] The company also announced it had received $304 million in users’ entry fees in 2014.[17]

    What does “accessible price” mean to one of the world’s first billionaire athletes in the surging NFT marketplace? Well, the initial 10,000-image collection will include 9,700 images priced anywhere from $12 to $100, with 375 of those moments priced at the top $100 mark. The remaining 300 NFTs will be signed by Woods himself and will retail anywhere from $250 to $1,500. Access passes for the “Premier” (read: standard) collection are now available for purchase through Autograph and DraftKings.
