Celebrities Are Buying NFTs, and We’ve Got a List To Prove ItBy Jennifer Farrington

Feb. 10 2022, Published 11:01 a.m. ET

Here’s a look at some of your favorite celebs and the NFTs they’ve chosen to add to their long list of valuable assets.

Paris Hilton went from being known as an heiress to an avid NFT collector. Hilton started investing in cryptocurrency in 2016 after becoming friends with the owner of Ethereum, reports CNBC, and has since seen a return on it. Today, Hilton owns roughly 150 NFTS, with BAYC #1294 being one of them. Hilton might also hold a Cloud 9 NFT, created by @Friendswithyou x Diplo.

In addition to purchasing NFTs, Hilton has launched her own collection, Paris: Past Lives, New Beginnings.

Reese Witherspoon, an advocate for women’s rights, has shown her support by purchasing NFTs created by women.

Think World of Women and World of Women Galaxy.

The entry point is a bit high, with the floor price starting around 1k, but after spending time in the flower girl discord and listening to the “Ask me anythings” I have no doubt that it will not be too long before that floor price begins to rise. I equate it to paying for any kind of class or mastermind group, you make an investment and that investment generates capital in one way or another, even if it is just an advancement in knowledge.

That being said, I never encourage any one to invest more than they can afford to loose.

One thing I might say is that the complexity of this project can feel a bit overwhelming and may feel like a barrier to entry. While becoming involved in the legend can be fun, all you have to do is hold a flower girl for an extended length of time to receive the benefits.

The signing marks a milestone and new beginning for TheFlower Girls creators who announced the developmental partnership at their first community gala on Thursday March 3rd, 2022. Community members and TheFlower Girls’ NFT holders who include Reese Witherspoon, Gwyneth Paltrow, Eva Longoria, Brie Larson, America Ferrara, Gary Vaynerchuk, Jimmy Connors, TIME President Keith Grossman, Thalia, and Brooklyn Beckham all had the opportunity to hear from Dolphin CEO and United Way Worldwide Leadership Council Member, Bill O’Dowd, who spoke at the event.

“First of all, the Flower Girls collection is fantastic art.

Dolphin Entertainment, an entertainment marketing and premium content production company, has entered into a strategic partnership with The Flower Girls, a fine art female-led non-fungible tokens. The NFT collection boast 10,000 unique works of art by revered artist Varvara Alay.

Launched in December of 2021, The Flower Girls has surpassed over $15 million in sales in just a few months. It is donating 20% of profits from both primary and secondary NFT sales to a variety of children’s charities.
In February, the company donated more than $400,000 across children’s charities including $200,000 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a client that is also on Dolphin Entertainment’s roster.

Konstantin Elin co-founder of The Flower Girls added, “To be able to work with an elite team of creatives and marketing agencies is thrilling but to do it in partnership with a group that shares our same values is truly remarkable.”

The Flower Girls team will gain access to Dolphin’s traditional and expanded services while also serving as one of the premiere clients for WCIP (pronounced We Come In Peace,) Dolphin’s newly-announced Web3 marketing, consulting and communications agency which is composed of executives across all six of Dolphin’s wholly-owned subsidiaries.

However, another Twitter user replied to this tweet by claiming: “No matter how many NFTs are created, the same amount of energy will be used. What you are saying is completely wrong on all levels.”

Do you understand how a block works? No matter how many NFTs are created, the same amount of energy will be used.

The collection comprises 10,000 unique and beautiful Flower Girls, generated from over 950 hand-drawn elements and stored as ERC-721 tokens on the Ethereum Blockchain. The Mission of the Flower Girls: to journey to Venus, the ancestral planet of all Women, supporting important charitable causes along the way while also offering scientific botany-based increased utility to their collectors, makes it one of the most unique NFT projects to date.

These forward-looking statements may address, among other things, Dolphin Entertainment Inc.’s offering of common stock as well as expected financial and operational results and the related assumptions underlying its expected results.

Zoë Roth, the woman whose picture was central to the 2005 Disaster Girl meme, has sold the original photo for $473,000 – the latest addition to the cryptocurrency-linked, digital image NFT craze that is sweeping through the art market.

The image was taken of Roth, then aged four, by her father in front of a burning house in Mebane, North Carolina. Firefighters had intentionally set the blaze as a controlled fire.

Roth, now aged 21 and a university student, sold the image through Ben Lashes, an NFT, or non-fungible token, entrepreneur who has racked up about $2m in sales for sales including Nyan Cat, Grumpy Cat, Keyboard Cat, Doge, Success Kid and David After Dentist.

Roth, who says she plans to use the proceeds to pay off her student loans and donate additional money to charity, told the New York Times: “The internet is big.

Everything we know about NFTs’ environmental impact so far

Celebs promoting NFTs has become a trend these days with the likes of Matt Damon, Gwyneth Paltrow, Reese Witherspoon, Paris Hilton, Jimmy Fallon and now Brie showing support for the tokens.

However, the NFT critics are pointing out what’s wrong with the new cryptocurrency.

One of the discussions happening these days is about their environmental impact.

A report by The Verge notes that since the NFT craze is pretty new, “none of the data that’s out there so far has been reviewed by outside experts.”

However, the report also claims that NFTs could possibly be responsible for a lot of greenhouse gas emissions.
